/This weekend I conducted a small group workshop and one of the students was a bit reserved, shy...totally paying attention but not vocal like the other students. And, if you know me in an essay workshop whether online or in person, I need to know you're with me. So I took her outside while the others were on an identity scavenger hunt and we chatted about where she was in the process.
Issue was - she wanted to write about something super delicate, extremely personal and she wasn't sure it was the right call since she couldn't even share it in our small group.
